Our suggestion to get Portovenere and Lerici

Yes, it's true, there are the famous Cinque Terre..but not only this, you can't miss The beautiful Gulf of Poets with its beautiful villages like:

Portovenere, designated by UNESCO in 1997 a World Heritage Site, is only 16 km away from our House.

You can't miss the Doria Castle with the walls around the historic center.

You can't miss the Gothic Church of St. Peter, consecrated in 1198. A wedding here? The church is booked for the next two years!!

You can get Portovenere by car, by bus and by boat.

If you decide for the car, you can reach Portovenere in around 20/25 min.

Portovenere offering 4 parking areas, the cheapest car park is located in "Il Cavo di Portovenere" and costs € 10 for the whole day.
Anyway, the best means to get Portovenere are Boat and Train, both starting from the town( La Spezia ), no problem with the parking in the city.

The boat run around every hour and stop the service and 7.00 pm, the bus is certainly more flexible, it run around every 20 min and is stop the service over midnight.

Lerici, with the charm of its pearls as San Terenzo, an ancient Etruscan city and an important Roman port, it was home to Mary Shelley and D.H. Lawrence in the 1800s.
For beach lovers, San Terenzo offers several clean and beautiful sandy paradises to choose.
Tellaro, "a nirvana between the sea and the sky, between rocks and the green mountains ”, as he wrote a famous and very important writer and Italian journalist, Mario Soldati.
Our house is located just 12 km away, around 20 min by car and no problem with the parking, Leruici offering 3 parking areas, Santerenzo parking, La Vallata parking and Lerici centro Parking

But also with Lerici, the best mean to get it is the bus, it run around every 20 min ant it take just 15. 

If you prefer is possible to get the town by bus, bus stop is just 300 mt from our house and the bust take just 10 min to get the city
